Toward its long-term growth, impact and sustainability, TILOS will seek additional support for its research, educational, broadening impacts and translation activities. Two initial mechanisms by which industrial partners can provide such support while deepening collaborations are the Affiliate and Partner programs. Affiliate: $50,000 per year

  • Invitation to members-only annual research review meetings to review, assess, critique, and advise on recent research results
  • Access to top talent and recruiting support in the form of poster sessions, talks, recruiting fairs and resume offerings
  • Opportunity to engage in entrepreneurial activities and start-ups from the INSTITUTE
  • Web access to electronically archived INSTITUTE publications
  • The right to propose and participate in additional joint research proposals, with INSTITUTE researchers, funded by agencies of the U.S. Government
  • The opportunity to sponsor and fund separate projects with INSTITUTE researchers after mutual agreement

Partner: $200,000+ per year

  • All Affiliate benefits
  • Representation on the Corporate Member Board (CMB)
  • Direct interaction with an interdisciplinary group of top faculty, students and other researchers in the INSTITUTE
  • Input into the selection of the INSTITUTE faculty to lead project(s) of mutual interest, according to level of Partner contribution
  • Opportunity to send a Visiting Industrial Fellow (“VIF”) to INSTITUTE for in-residence research
  • Grant of a non-exclusive, royalty-free, nontransferable, irrevocable right to intellectual property developed by the INSTITUTE, to the extent that such a grant can be made by INSTITUTE
