Nicklas Hansen is postdoctoral researcher with Lerrel Pinto and Yann LeCun at New York University. A TILOS alumnus, Dr. Hansen completed their PhD at UC San Diego, where they were advised by Xiaolong Wang and Hao Su. Dr. Hansen was an intern at NVIDIA Research and Meta AI (FAIR), and a recipient of an NVIDIA Graduate Research Fellowship. They received their BS and MS degrees from the Technical University of Denmark, and were also a visiting student at UC Berkeley and a research intern at Berkeley AI Research. Dr. Hansen is broadly interested in advancing machine intelligence, with particular emphasis on world models and reinforcement learning, robot learning, and generalization.
